The Beginning    The Immediate Past    The Past    The Immediate Future    The End

Dispatches from Gray's Anatomy class:

9 April 2007 - The federal government announced today that in an effort to eradicate the national debt, it will be selling the state of Rhode Island to a group of private investors, for a reported $18 billion. The investors plan to enclose the entire state with an all-weather roof, and turn it into the world's largest shopping mall. When asked for comment, a White House spokesperson would only say, "Well, at least we didn't sell it to the fucking Japanese."
Pardon the profanity, but today is the tenth anniversary of the theatrical release of Steven Soderbergh's Schizopolis. I figure that's worth a raised eyebrow or two.

11 April 2007 - New story at Unloosen. Don't be petty, just read it.

13 April 2007 - Got a few things to cover today:
1) It's Friday the 13th. Don't feel obligated to watch any of the movies or anything. Just know that it is.
2) Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters is out today, and to mark the occasion Animation World Magazine had me interview the show's creators. It's my first article for the magazine and hopefully not my last.
3) Kurt Vonnegut Jr. died on Wednesday at the age of 84. I just read one of his novels (Slapstick) a few weeks back, too. So it goes.
