Dispatches from the Rebirth Canal:
2 April 2007 - And Dada is back. I'm trying something new with it -- call it an experiment -- so until I fully get the hang of it, I'm going back to running it three times a week. That'll probably last a month or so. As always, I'll keep you -- my faithful readers -- posted.
4 April 2007 - With one fell stroke, two Films That Should Be On DVD Already are now on DVD. The original Bedazzled with Peter Cook and Dudley Moore and Richard Lester's Royal Flash were released yesterday and I am happy to report that I have acquired both. Julie Andrews!
6 April 2007 - I'm sure you already know this, but I was most dismayed to hear about the sudden death of director Bob Clark on Wednesday as the result of a head-on collision with a drunk driver (an accident that also claimed the life of Clark's son). His recent output may have left something to be desired, but Clark's place in cinematic history is secured by likes of A Christmas Story, the original Black Christmas, and yes, Porky's.
