The Beginning    The Immediate Past    The Past    The Immediate Future    The Present

Dispatches from fast food fashion:

21 July 2003 - Quote of the Week: "The failed magician waves his wand, and in an instant the laughter's gone." --Depeche Mode, "More Than a Party"

23 July 2003 - Ooh, lightning! You know, I hear it crashes. Forget where I read that.

25 July 2003 - You know what? I really don't have the words to tell you to stay away from Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (yes, that is the full title) this weekend. Just do it, okay?
Also on the sequel front is Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over from sextuple threat Robert Rodriguez (he writes, directs, produces, edits, composes and does his own visual effects -- dude, learn how to delegate). I've liked Rodriquez's work in the past, so I can't in good conscience tell you not to go if you're so inclined, but know that just around the corner -- on September 12, to be precise -- is Once Upon a Time in Mexico, his follow-up to El Mariachi and Desperado. Now that's a sequel I have no problem getting behind.
