Dispatches from the George O'Hara Smith Singers:
24 February 2003 - Quote of the Week: "I've got no time for you right now / Don't bother me." --George Harrison, who would have been 60 today
25 February 2003 - You'll forgive me if I'm a little down right now, but I saw Lost in La Mancha -- the documentary about the dissolution of Terry Gilliam's The Man Who Killed Don Quixote -- yesterday and that is one depressing film. It's a good thing I had the perfect antidote -- the new Criterion DVD of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas -- handy, but damnit. Damn. It.
28 February 2003 - Comings and Goings - Dada welcomes into the world Sophia Grace Nazzaro, daughter of Paul and Elena, who was born on Wednesday night, and marks the passing of Fred Rogers, a.k.a. Mr. Rogers, who left the Neighborhood on Thursday morning at the age of 74.
