Dispatches from the Nashville Whether Cervix:
17 February 2003 - Quote of the Week: "It's snowing, it's snowing! God, I hate this weather." --They Might Be Giants
Of course, this is from a cover of a song written by Lisa Marr, Robynn Iwata and Lisa Neilson, but They Might Be Giants sung it and it's appropriate, so here it is.
19 February 2003 - Well, the snow continues to exist, so I have to continue dealing with it. Monday I waited for it to stop before I dug my car out. That took two and a half hours, mostly because I also had to clear a path from my front door to my car so I could dig it out. Yesterday I had to go to work, so I put my snow shovel in the back seat since I figured it would come in handy. Sure enough, when I returned to my apartment complex last night, the roads were even more of a mess than they had been on Monday, and it took me a half hour to carve out a space to park in. Can't wait to see what today brings.
20 February 2003 - Well, yesterday brought a 45-minute drive to work and an hour drive home. Can't beat that. Or can you, Thursday?
21 February 2003 - Thursday couldn't beat that.
