19 August 2002 - Quote of the Week: "I hate messages from the front. Why don't I ever get messages from the side?" --Rufus T. Firefly
For those of you not in the know, today marks the 25th anniversary of the passing of Groucho Marx. Be sure to spend it with somebody you love. And if you don't love anybody, be sure to spend it with an elephant in your pajamas.
21 August 2002 - Hey, do you remember when those commercials used to be about how the talking gecko wasn't and didn't want to be Geico's spokesperson? What the hell? Was he brainwashed or something? Is he now the Stepford Gecko? Am I the only person asking these questions? Should I go and have a lie-down?
23 August 2002 - You've heard of Bowling for Dollars, right? Well, how about Bowling for Dullards? Do you think that would catch on? I'm thinking about sinking my life's savings into it and I want to make sure it's a sound investment. It sure as hell beats the stock market.
