Dispatches from Force 10 from Navarone:
8 July 2002 - First, I would like to take a moment to mark of passing of the great filmmaker John Frankenheimer. Then I would like to pass the time by playing a little solitaire. And maybe later I'll take a trip to Central Park and go jump in the lake.
9 July 2002 - Now I'd like to learn a little something about birds. Maybe start with a baby sparrow and work my way up to canaries. I could have a whole mess of them.
10 July 2002 - Now I'd like to plot a military coup to oust the President of the United States and take over the government. I just hope that pesky Kirk Douglas doesn't find out about it and foil my plans.
11 July 2002 - Now I'd like to foil a Nazi plot to steal a bunch of paintings from the French near the close of World War II. And I'd like to do it in black and white, thank you very much.
12 July 2002 - Finally, I would like to start over with a new face and a new life, all courtesy of a mysterious organization with shady connections and unsavory methods... On second thought, maybe I wouldn't.
Well, how many of these did you figure out? If the answer is none, then you need to see more John Frankenheimer pictures.
