Hey! I've written a new poem for the month of June. And guess what it's called...

June
June is like an apple blossom surrounded by some leaves
June is like spaghetti water filtered through two sieves
June is an esophagus experiencing dry heaves

June.

There you have it. My first new poem in close to two years. I hope it was everything you expected it to be.

Other poems:

Haikus -- April 1998
Tuna Fish -- May 1998
Dark Ages -- June 1998
Precious Girl -- July 1998
Sweet Shop -- August 1998
Arbeiten -- September 1998
Lunatic -- October 1998
Ode to the Deer... -- November 1998
Into Each Life... -- December 1998
A One and Three Nines -- January 1999
House of Pancakes -- February 1999
A Lone R -- August 1999

Lastly, here is the infamous set-list from my legendary poetry reading at the Borders Books and Music in Marlton, NJ, on November 30, 1996.

By the way, if you still feel like checking in, I will occasionally add a new poem or two, as I write them (or otherwise decide to dig them up).

A NOTE ON HUMOUR (besides the fact that I spell it the British way):
Often people think if one writes humourous poems, then one does not take the business of writing poems seriously and just tosses them off at random. While this may apply to the concepts of some of my poems, the actual working out of the final poem can be a lengthy and tedious process.
