Craig J. Clark's Links to the Stars

Well, maybe they're not all stars, but I do enjoy the company of the ones who aren't yet but deserve to be.

FRIENDS

  • First up, you can visit Kevin Pease. He has his own business called Cerulean Stimuli, which does all sorts of things. Don't believe me? Just take a look. For a local sample of his work, you can check out the page he designed for Said and Done, And Three Other Plays.
  • Kevin is also the mind behind the brilliant online comic strip Absurd Notions, which shares space with the autobiographical Why the Long Face. Both could stand to be updated more often, but with Kevin you have to want quality over quantity.

  • Next up is Tony LaRocca's Egotistical Productions. It includes info on his computer animation projects and on his own bad self. Go there and download the teaser trailer for his next project, Clump. It's going to be a doozy.

  • Thirdly, there's the French Toast Girl a.k.a. Elena Nazzaro. Elena is the brilliant artist who drew my college comic strip when her last name was La Rocca. (She also created Mr. Flibbertigibbet, the demented groundhog puppet in my play Said and Done.) She is the brother of Tony and husband of Paul (more on him anon) and she has a delightful site of her own. Marvel at her lovely drawings and whimsical thoughts.

  • Fourthly, there's the Paul Nazzaro Music Studio. Paul is the husband of Elena, if you hadn't already guessed. She has also done illustrations for Paul's website, as you can see if you stop by there. They're good people.

  • Our next contestant is Kevin E. Gruenfeld. The only person with a Masters degree that I used to room with. Let's say hello to Kevin, shall we?

  • I actually know one further Kevin. He is a super-mega-computer wizard-genius who works at some place that pays him a lot of money to play with computers, but he doesn't have his own website yet. Talk about a lack of priorities!

  • Getting back to people with actual websites to their names, follow this link to Wild Snowflake's Website, the domain of the ever-ethereal Heidi H. She has links to fun sites and her favorite charities, as well as stories about her own life, which is plenty interesting if you know Heidi. Be sure to also check out her blog, which gets updated several times a week.

    PROFESSIONAL DETACHMENTS
(That is, sites I've attached to my website, leech-like.)

  • Brooklyn Publishers -- the company that has published my play Das Box. They specialize in "quality drama for middle school, junior high, and high school students." Since I wrote Das Box when I was a senior in high school, they seemed like the best place to go to. They've since published Litmus Test.

  • Playwrights on the Web -- an international contact list for playwrights and their websites. I'm listed on it, but if you're reading this, then you're already at my website, so why should I give you a link to other playwrights' sites? Because Paul Thain asked me to, that's why. If you have a problem with that, take it up with Paul.

  • The Onion -- a satirical weekly newspaper, updated every Wednesday, that proves that satire doesn't mean it can't also be funny. The Onion has also published a number of books, the best of which is Our Dumb Century: One Hundred Years of Headlines from America's Finest News Source. It takes you year by year through a bizarro alternate universe where Bob Dylan did a beach movie, Nixon went to jail for his crimes and Neil Armstrong didn't exactly quote the Bible when he was on the moon. Be forewarned, they tend to get a little loose with the naughty words.

  • -- simply the best online comic strip that features two wisecracking polygons as its main characters. Not only that, but its self-reflexive humour is genuinely funny. Go figure.
  • For other good online comics, check out Kevin Pease's list of comics links.

  • The Official Adrian Belew WWW Site -- This fan-run website contains just about every piece of information you would ever want to know about Adrian Belew. For one thing, it answers the question, "Who is Adrian Belew?"

  • And that's all. I used to have links to websites for three other bands -- Barnes & Barnes, Man or Astro-Man? and Servotron -- but they all appear to have gone the way of Pork Pony. Sigh.
Stay tuned. More links will be added as it occurs to me to add them.
P.S. It seems like this should go without saying, but if you notice that one or more of these links doesn't work, e-mail me at cjclark1973@yahoo.com and I'll investigate.
P.P.S. I know you are probably perfectly capable of hitting the "Back" button, but in case you don't feel like it and want to return to my main page, you can do so by using this link.
